Social, Dining, and Communication Etiquette for girls ages 7-12
Class 1: Getting to Know You-February 11, 11:00am-12:00pm
In this introductory session, the young ladies will get to know each other. The secrets of effective communication will be taught as girls learn how to make proper introductions, provide appropriate eye contact, listening, and shake hands.
Class 2: Model Behavior-February 18, 2012, 11:00am-12:00pm
The way a person stands, sits and walk says a lot about how a person feels about herself. In this class, girls will learn tips on posture to carry themselves with grace and poise. In addition, girls will also discuss ways to show respect and consideration for others and expected behaviors in social settings.
Class 3: Delightful Dining: Part 1-February 25, 2012, 11:00am-12:00pm
During this class, girls will learn to confidently navigate their way through any meal, whether it’s at home or a formal event. The ladies will be taught how to set a basic and informal table setting, the 5 uses of the napkin, the purpose of each utensil, and behaviors at the table
Class 4: Delightful Dining: Part 2-March 3, 2012, 11:00am-12:00pm
The dining lesson continues with appropriate conversations at the table, eating common and uncommon foods, and the different styles of dining.
Class 5: G.L.A.M.-n-Jam(mies)-March 10, 2012, 11:00am-12:00pm
In this spa themed class, girls come dressed in their pj’s and enjoy a mini facial and mini manicure as they learn the art of communication through listening, body language and engaging in conversations with others.
Class 6: Dain-tea Darlings-March 17, 2012, 11:00am-12:00pm
During this final class, the girls will review all the skills learned while enjoying our elegant tea party. Girls will wear their party best dresses and we will provide the fun accessories to make this the fanciest event yet.
